The Academy of Ancient Music and organist/conductor Richard Egarr perform Handel's Organ Concertos op. 7 and more. Egarr performs on an organ built in 1998 by the OHS Member firm of Martin Goetze and Dominic Gwynn, which is a fine copy of an early 18th century instrument built by Richard Bridge and Thomas Parker. During the ad libitum movements, Egarr improvises using 18th century harmonic and melodic elements. For 'The Cuckoo and the Nightingale', Egarr performs on an historically designed 2005 Robin Jennings chamber organ of only four stops. The solo pieces are performed on historically designed harpsichords. Over two hours of music in high quality SACD format!
