J. S. Bach's Earliest Autographs: The Weimar Tablature

A manuscript recently discovered in Weimar has proven to contain tablature in Bach’s own hand, as well as valuable insights into his early years and proof that he was the student of Georg Böhm. Jean-Claude Zehnder has chosen to play works drawn from this fascinating document on the Schnitger organ known to Bach in St. Jacob’s Church, Hamburg.
