A proposed new peal of bells at the Cathedral of St. Nikolai in Greifswald, Germany is the inspiration for this recording by Cathedral Organist Frank Dittmer. The "Prayer and Professor Bell", a c' bell cast in they year 1440 which is audible beyond the city limits, is to be joined by six more bells at pitches e flat', a flat', b flat', c", e flat", and f".
