The Organ Historical Society was founded in 1956 by a small group of college-aged organists and organ enthusiasts as a way of visiting historic pipe organs. Over the years, OHS has grown into a non-profit, educational organization that celebrates, preserves and studies the pipe organ in all its historic styles, through research, education, advocacy and music. Everyone is welcome to order from the OHS Catalog, and OHS members receive a discount.
The OHS Catalog is a service program of the OHS, making books, sheet music, videos, and recordings of the pipe organ conveniently available, along with gift items and calendars. We are a small operation, and are currently shipping orders weekly. Our staff does not work on weekends or holidays. During seasons of heavy ordering, please order early so you receive your items when you need them.
