Released by Solstice Recordings, Paris, in anticipation of  the 100th anniversary of Cochereau's birth in July 2024, Cochereau served as titular organist at Notre-Dame de Paris from 1955-1984. He studied at the Paris Conservatory from 1943-1949, and oversaw the controversial re-building of the organ in Notre-Dame in the 1960's. The OHS catalog carries a number of his recordings, including his Rarétés et Inédits, and he is well-known for his improvisations and compositions. This is the newest recording from Solstice in Paris, 2024.
