This tongue-in-cheek - “Out On Four Limbs” is a delightful four-hand arrangement of the six-part Ricercar from J. S. Bach’s Musical Offering. Voices 1, 3, and 5 are for the player seated to the right. Voices 2, 4, and 6, are for the player seated to the left. Played on two different manuals - obviously with balancing registrations. The resulting ranges for each player overlap a great deal, requiring some ‘manouevering’ around each other. The music, of course, is glorious! Paul Tegals, Pacific Lutheran University, 2017
