Masaaki Suzuki is currently a visiting professor at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music. In 2001 he was awarded the cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, and in 2012 he received the Bach Medal, awarded by the city of Leipzig. On this recording he plays Bach Organ Works on the Schnitger/Hinz organ in the Martinikerk, Groningen.
