Guinaldo was born and educated in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He attended the School of Fine Arts and Catholic University in Buenos Aires, and studied with Hermes Forti and Alberto Ginastera. He holds a Master's Degree in Theory and Composition from the University of California at Riverside, and the Diplome Superieur d'Orgue from the Schola Cantorum in Paris, where he studied with Jean Langlais. He has performed in the USA, Europe, Mexico and Argentina.
