Andrew Shenton plays organ works by jazz composer Joe Utterback on the very large Mander organ at St. Ignatius Loyola Church in New York. Utterback, himself, improvises one track, The Ewe’s Blues. Some of the works are based on English organ voluntaries, others are brief chorale preludes, still others are Gospel jazz, and a few are concert works.
