Wagner & Cavaillé-Coll
Wagner is played on the Cavaillé-Coll located in Iglesia del Salvador, Usurbil, recreating a musical soirée of the times when this very organ was located in the home of the Albert Baron de l’Espée, a great Wagner enthusiast. Moved to the church after the Baron's death, the 2-30 was completed in 1907 and is the last instrument owned by the Baron, who was Cavaillé-Coll’s famous sponsor. (The Baron also owned the organ now in Sacré-Coeur in Paris).
