Composer William Rowan and text writer Mary Louise Bringle collaborated on a graceful hymn that has become a favorite in many congregations. Now Michael Burkhardt provides an alternative setting. Beginning with an impressionistic introduction for organ, each stanza then has its own accompaniment, over which women, men, and all (with soprano descant) sing the tune.
